Does the HyperChiller Actually Work?!?!
Great video! Where did you get a hold of the black stand for the dosing cup? Nice touch the all black looks great.
Thanks. Very thorough
I have a Turin DM47 and tempted to the idea of replacing its burr with Kinu
Contigo used to make the Twistseal but I can't find it anymore 😢
That’s the worse when a product you love is no longer
what about scratching and damaging fine precision holes in your basket? I think rotating needle tool is better, because has fixed needle depth
I’ve never had that issue
I just got this same Espresso machine last week and i love it! I did get a bottomless portafilter 51mm 18g. With freshly roasted beans and the right grind settings you can get a REALLY good espresso shot. Love it and recommend it to anyone starting out or wanting to get into espresso.
Glad you enjoy
how long did it take to get to you ? I have one sitting in Customs awaiting clearance. It has been a nuisance getting it released.
It was pretty quick I got it pre release though
Can you use iSi whip on the Nitropress DS?
I’m not sure
Leverpresso v4 is probably the best espresso machine for sub $200. Picopresso is probably #2. Both can produce far better espresso than this casabrews in proper hands.
I took manual machines out of the picture for this. Flair would be up there to
How long do you let this thing heat up for? I’ve tried mine twice and not impressed.
Probably 15
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner 15 minutes? That’s crazy…I’m returning it..😂😂
that basket isnt meant for 18grams. the 51mm portafilter is only meant for 14-14.5. and they sell a replacement bottomless grouphead that holds the same amount of coffee.
The basket I put in there is rated for 18 grams
nice video, very useful. thanks. can you do review for Sttoke?
I’ll redo the whole video soon
I don't find the arms painful at all, neither do my buddy's 9 and 7 year old daughters 😅😂
In comparisons to the flair it is
Thank you! I just realized that I bought a Neo with bottomless portfilter and pressure gauge, and im not gonna be able to upgrade to a pro 😢
The neo could never upgrade to the pro
A nice clean bottom??!!
Yup
Thanks for showing this underrated hand grinder some love! I had the "Icafilas" branded version of this and loved it (though more for filter than espresso). From other reviews and photo comparisons, it looks like the H40's heptagonal burr is based on the Comandante (like 1Zpresso K or Kingrinder K6) and is more geared towards clarity than texture. I made the mistake of selling it when my DF54 arrived because I thought that the DF54, having flat burrs, would have pretty good clarity. I was so wrong. While I love the DF54 for espresso, the H40 blows it out of the water when it comes to filter. So, I agree with your assessment that the H40 provides excellent value. It's cheap enoigh that someone who has an espresso focused grinder could justify getting an H40 to focus on filter.
Great comment!
Wife just got me one. Tired it only once so far.
What did you think
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner I need some practice for sure….don’t think k I let it go long enough…the pup was waiting for a walk so I think I started drawing off too quickly. I’m going to try and time it the next few times and get it down. Going to take some time but I’m all in on giving it a try….my one time was just today..😂😂
Hi! This is quite a well-made video! However, I want to suggest you cut out those messed up takes and add some kind of transition like b-rolls. It'll make the flow of your video more fluid instead of repeating the previous messed-up scripts! I hope this makes sense!
Thanks for the tips!

@Cabeen's Coffee Corner does the new lid fit on the old style mug?
It does not
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner thank you!
@@xephael3485 happy to help
I feel you overlooked how long it'll keep the beverages cold or hot.
I didn’t over look it, I’ve just never had an issue with either of those things
isn't it K4 or K6 from Kingrinder?
No
Try the Tefal one its 360 dring hot or cold and leak proof as well theee is easy indicator if it's open or closed. it tops all ones you demonistrated but I was looking for close one with smaller size for about 330ml Max but didnt find the one I'm looking for. The Tefal mug is about 400ml and it's huge i think and I would preder smallsr design for 300ml with similar features.
I’ll look into!
I wanted to see it in action :(
Check out the channel! I have some stuff on it
DO NOT use twice boiled water :D P.S. no joke
Good to know
Brew your own and save another 💵. 😉
There you go!
My question is: why are there not more UA-cam reviews out there? It looks like it's coming back to Kickstarter and is hard to make a decision with such little info. thank you for making this video.
I’m not sure. It’s a pretty niche market. Thanks for watching
I bought mine 2 month it hasn’t arrived yet
are any of these cups compatible with the plastic lid that come with paper cups?
Not that I’m aware of
what an emotional rollercoaster
It is
interesting points. I'm a sucker for new things so I grabbed teh cheapo amazon one to try it. I've been using it daily driver to give it a chance, and while it has sped up my workflow (I don't shake for 5-10s just a few while grabbing the PF) it's introduced more channeling over my old WDT workflow. I know Lance said it was supposed to increase extraction which I kinda think it has, the channelling has been bugging me. Maybe i'm just inconsistent. But I agree, it's not for everyone, and the end of the day, if you aren't enjoying the whole process, re-evaluate stuff til you are!
Glad you saved some money with the Amazon one
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner I was actually able to improve it after I watched your video here. I took some 400 grit sandpaper to it and smoothed it out, then went to like 1200grt and finished it off with some mineral oil... grinds just fall straight down now... why they wouldn't do that in the factory I don't know...... but in the end it made only a slight improvement on the shot, the rest of the issues were still sort of there...
Cheers🎉
Thanks
You voted 🗳 for Biden didn't u
What’s that supposed to mean
Nitrogen beer is good too
Never tried
I used to have a cup exactly like the one you have at 5:27. I miss that cup so much I can’t find another. Do you have the model for that one?
I don’t :(
7.5g of vanilla extract or vanilla syrup?!
Extract
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner holy smokes that seems like a lot of extract!
@@pneill90 lol it definitely is! I tried lower but 7.5 seemed really good
Can you use the container and compressor like a normal isi container for whipped creams and foams? Could you try with just heavy cream and sugar to see if you can get whipped cream? Id love to see the consistency. If it did that i can justify getting one myself.
I haven’t tried it but it would work
I thought it was resonable to try a knockoff versiion with my new setup for $20. I certainly would pay $100 or more. If I don't like it I'll just get a WDT tool which does work
20$ is a way better deal
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner no way those things cost more than a few dollars to manufacture. You are paying for the R&D and marketing of the expensive ones.
Nice! but what kind of dimmer? new ones for LED will not work

Do a whip it next vid!!!
Maybe sometime
My brain still don’t work right from whip it’s lol. 17 was a hard time
gimme
already won
Ill take it, i have been wanting to get one.
someone already won
Another good review. Still on the fence of investing in one. Question: can you taste the difference in the cartridge vs DS?
I could not
There aren't any grinders that are maintenance free, they all need cleaning from time to time, especially with these high-flow grinders that don't have a direct path into the basket. All grinders with declumping chutes have the potential to cake up if ignored.
lesson learned
Really too bad that there aren't any cups that don't release any harmfull micro particles in our drinks, whatever cup we buy there is always some toxic synthethic (or even organic) parts ruining it..

@@CabeensCoffeeCorner Every cup on the market has plastic parts that shed micro plastics in our drinks.
Assuming your in the US. Did you have to pay any extra custom/duty fees?
i dont believe so its been a bit though
Which lid do you think is easiest to clean? We want two mainly for iced coffee's and filter coffee. Since we'll be using milk in the ice coffee we want to be able to clean it without too much hussle for obvious reasons. The triple lid bundle seems to be harder to find for the colours we'd like in our country. Else that wouild be a nobrainer.
the easiest is the standard lid
"some other person on youtube called lance" ? you mean former world barista champion lance hedrick ?
It’s hendrick and I’m pretty confident he has not won the world barista championship
Love the new mic it sounds less metallic
Thanks
